Carbon Hoof Print
This Hoof Print logo will be printed on all packaging of Certified Irish Angus beef. This will inform consumers that the beef they are buying is environmentally friendly as it helps to reduce the carbon "hoof print". This means this beef is produced from animals with a lower carbon footprint. We know this as they have been genomically tested and proven to have less methane emissions.
About Us
As part of our project for the Certified Irish Angus Schools Competition, we have created this website Hoof Print. We aim to improve both consumer and farmer awareness of important developments in the area of genetics. Our website is also a reservoir of important information for both farmers and consumers.
